Here are some of our favorite resources for learning about robotics, electronics, and programming.  Check them out!

Electronics

Make: Electronics by Charles Platt – A comprehensive hands-on introduction to everything electronics. The only thing I’ve ever read that made me want to lick a battery. Great for kids and adults alike. Level: Beginner

http://learn.adafruit.com/ – A great resource for DIY circuitry and Arduino projects. Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Programming

Codecademy.com – A series of online interactive tutorials to learn the basics of several programming languages. Level: Beginner to Intermediate

Khan Academy’s CS Lessons – A fun online programming tool with interactive video lessons.  Great for kids! Level: Beginner

CoderDojo NYC – Free programming classes in NYC for kids ages 7-17!  For those of you not in the NYC area, check to see if there’s a CoderDojo near you!

Iridescent Learning – Iridescent Learning offers many programs in science, math, and technology for people of all ages – from toddlers to adults!  Check out their programs page to see their wide variety of offerings.

MIT Women’s Technology Program – WTP is a month-long residential summer program for high-school girls entering their senior year to learn about the fundamentals of either EECS or Mechanical Engineering.
